Risk Management

Considering there is provision for risk management under the AS/NZS 3760 and since there is no formal documentation/procedure under the AS/NZS 3551 for the formal reassessment of retest timeframes risk management could be available in the AS/NZS4360 and this standard could be a standard to reaccess after 3 years. It is important to note that this risk management approach is not an opt-out option and set procedures must be followed.

To Keep Your Current Licence Current

You will need to undergo re-training – failure to do so does not prevent you from testing, but from a public liability insurance perspective and the risk of allowing someone to test who may or may not be competent, then re-training is very advisable.
