Test & Tag Standards Saftey Mangers Course

Course Overview

This is a free course for safety managers or safety REPs across all industries. It is designed to help you understand all the necessary requirements for being complaint when it comes to test and tagging of your equipment and work environment. This course helps cut through all the fluff of the applicable standards and gives you just the things you need to know.

This course does not cover:

  • How to actually perform/carry out testing of equipment
  • Understanding of necessary electrical terms and definitions or the applicable electrical tests performed when testing
  • How to use a portable appliance tester

Because of the nature of this course, not all areas will be applicable to you or your situation. For example, most safety managers don’t need to know about the AS/NZS 3551: 2012 because it deals with testing equipment in medical environments in proximity to patients. However, if you are a safety manager of a construction site then the AS/NZS 3012: 2012 is going to be very relevant to you. Pick and choose what you need to know.

Note: at the start of the course we will advise you what standards relate more to what industries.
