AS/NZS 3760

This course teaches people (often including electricians) how to test and tag electrical items correctly and safely and how to operate the test equipment which will normally be a PAT tester.  It also teaches regulatory requirements such as record keeping, tag information and who can do what etc.

Legally to test in accordance with AS/NZS3760 (known as the test and tag Standard) you do not need to be electrically registered, but you do need to be deemed competent.  It is the aim of this course to make people competent and the course includes theory and practical, along with an assessment which contains theory and practical testing using a PAT (Portable Appliance Tester).
